Important Permission Notice: To enable the core screen lock function, UME ScreenLock requires the Android Accessibility Service permission. Without this permission, the lock screen feature cannot be activated or maintained as designed.

We understand Accessibility permission is sensitive, and we only use it for limited, feature-specific purposes that are necessary for screen lock behavior, such as detecting lock-related state changes and ensuring the lock interface responds correctly. We do not use this permission to read your personal messages, collect the text you type, monitor passwords, or capture private content outside the scope of lock screen operation.

You remain in control at all times: this permission is disabled by default, can be turned off in your device settings whenever you choose, and disabling it will only affect features that depend on Accessibility support. If you do not want to grant this permission, you can still use other non-Accessibility features of the App where available.

We do not intentionally collect highly sensitive personal data unless it is required by a specific feature and clearly disclosed at permission time.

2. How We Use Information

We use data to operate and improve UME ScreenLock, including to:

Provide core lock screen functionality and user-selected personalization.
Maintain app security, prevent abuse, and detect fraudulent activity.
